You liked Rachel- no, You loved her. For like the longest time possible, But she didn't know that. And you plan for her to NEVER know that, so its good that she doesn't know. But you can't help but want to smother her in kisses for being that oblivious, Hell. She's probably more oblivious than the Percy Jackson himself, whom she had a crush on. Sadly.

You always had to hear her rant about him, Which annoyed you. A whole lot, yet you didn't show that. Obviously, why would you? She still can't know about your massive crush on her! So now here you were, sitting on her bed while Rachel was painting another painting which seemed like the strawberry fields back at Camp half-blood. You were engrossed in a book, humming a song that you didn't know the lyrics to. But it was catchy either way, Rachel finally spoke up. Her voice filling the silence;

"Hmm, what do you think? ,Does it need more green?" She said, raising an eyebrow whilst lifting the canvas for you to see. You looked up from your book, and caught yourself admiring and staring at her. You realised after 5 seconds that you were, so you quickly cleared your throat and replied. "Yeah. Uhuh." You replied, while Rachel sighed deeply. "You've been awfully quiet, got something in mind?" She said, now curious.
