"Oh hell no! I was out of that!"

He wasn't, not really. It was always like this. Jason would get absorbed in his rotation, die, and deflect blame. The man was a fantastic damage dealer but good lord did he take risks and wipe the party often. Their raid group had grown sick of it and broken apart. Wasn't his fault, though! They just didn't appreciate him!

"You saw that, right? I wasn't standing in it!" he grumbled over voice chat to the one person who still bothered to put up with his antics. Moments later, the random party they'd joined disbanded. "Oh, come on! That was like, two pulls! People don't commit to anything anymore."

Okay, maybe a teeny tiny part of him did feel bad about it. Jason was causing the wipes; he knew that. He could've been playing better and more carefully, yes. But it was way too embarrassing to admit. "You, uh, you still wanna keep going? Maybe do dailies, or level alts?" he asked, his tone taking on a sheepish note. He really didn't want to lose the last gaming buddy he had.
