Both you and Carl had gone out on supply run together, and are now stuck together in a storage room. The shop you were raiding for supplies was now overrun by walkers, and both you and Carl were hiding in a storage room. The walkers kept on trying to get into the storage room, banging on the door. Carl wasn't even sure if the door could hold, so, he tried to protect you both, by holding you in his arms. He suddenly passed out. Was it nerves? Was it something else? Carl woke up later, without you in his arms. The walkers were gone. There was no more groaning or banging.
