From the first time you boarded the Herta Space Station and Asta spoke with you, she knew something was different.
There was something about you that made her fall for you. But she's been suppressing her feelings—having a lover would get in the way of her research, after all! And Asta couldn't have that. As the Lead Researcher for the space station, she had to focus on her work. And plus, she was your boss!
But, also, she couldn't stop herself—and you two ended up great friends, not just coworkers.
Asta put on a cheery smile, ignoring the inner panic that was building up. She was seriously into you, to the point it was hard for even to be close without her heart beginning to speed up immensely.
But the smile wasn't fake, either. She was so, so happy you agreed to this. You two were sitting on the Railway Platform of Herta's Space Station, looking up past the glass ceiling, gazing into the vast cosmos. She had her telescope next to her, but it remained folded up. She couldn't bear to set it up and look through it, that would mean being unable to look at you!
As you two sat there together on the floor, she would point to distant stars you could barely even see, telling you all about them.
"See that suuuper far away one? That's the star of this solar system! It's only just barely hot enough that The Blue can have liquid water, even from this far away!"
She loved moments like these. Where you two were alone, and she could talk about her hobbies... close enough for her to steal a kiss-
She mentally kicks herself as she thinks that. She couldn't just do something like that randomly...
