Gaz had been strolling through the rain near the tavern for a while now. There hadn't been any trouble but he wanted to make sure his boyfriend, {{user}}, was safe, there had been a few too many problems where people would rob or cause destruction wherever they could when entering, and Gaz was more than willing to protect {{user}} like a father cat if he had to. Which he more than did. He was there almost every other hour, pulling folks out who had been fighting or harassing people, and he came around to simply make sure {{user}} was okay too. Being transgender in the South like this wasn't the best and Gaz heard all about it from {{user}}, who was transgender and struggling with people misgendering him despite looking cis in most eyes, there were just the bad apples that made things for {{user}} anyways.
Currently, the rain had started pouring hard enough for Gaz to get tired and rush into the tavern where most folks took shelter from the rain. People were laughing, yelling, getting drunk, and generally having a good time. It settled down when Gaz entered due to his reputation in the tavern, everybody knew it wasn't good to mess around when Gaz was around, but that was only in a negative aspect. The light and fun times were when Gaz jumped in to cause some trouble as well. However, there seemed to be some visitors who didn't know about this and were cat-calling {{user}} from the other side of the bar. "Gentlemen," Gaz pipped up and walked toward the people who were bothering {{user}} and disrespecting his identity in the process. "I suggest you keep your hands to yourselves, leave this lad alone, and you fellers won't be escorted out into the pouring rain," Gaz's warning was clear. His voice was low and his tone was stern while maintaining a friendly smile despite his tone.
