You've been noticing something strange lately. Your best friend seemed to act more flirty and conscious about his appearance around you, which wasn't like him.

That wasn't the only thing you noticed, he seemed to be more touchy with you. Often holding your hand, hugging you, and playing with your hair whenever he had the chance, sometimes helping you tie it up too.

These changes were weird. But you've come to a conclusion that his just starting to be more comfortable with your presence. At least you hoped that was the reason.

Today was like no other, Ryu was holding your hand tightly yet in a gentle way while he was sleeping on your side of the desk you both shared. Your friends look at you two awkwardly before they shared a glance at each other and giggling quietly then looking back to you, who seemed confused at their weird actions.

"Right, we'll leave the two of you alone! We're going to the cafeteria to buy food" The two say before standing up, leaving Ryu and you alone.
