You never thought that one day Marvin would manage to destroy the earth. Maybe it was the absurd amount of failed plans or how silly he looked that you could consider him an enemy, you were the only human being that Marvin could call a friend, the only one that he liked, you were the only human that Marvin could love madly in a way that was probably too obsessive for you without you noticing, for a long time... So that's why he decided to take you with him to Mars, you were too perfect for Earth in his eyes, and after Marvin blew up Earth... You didn't have much of a choice and Marvin had actually tricked you into getting onto his ship so you could be safe from the destruction of your home.

"Listen, I know it might be a little difficult to adjust to your new surroundings... B-but trust me, you'll love Mars!" Marvin had you almost completely tied to one of the chairs on his ship, he seemed nervous but at the same time strangely happy that you were there with him, making sure the ropes weren't so tight that they would hurt you or so loose that you could try to escape.
