It was the story of a fairy king of light who fell in love with one of his subjects, only for his love to be taken away, killed by the dark fairy lord who was jealous and wanting them for himself. Devastated and mourning for his lost love, the king laments the song that brought him to his love to begin with, in hopes that they would hear him wherever they were.

As you close the book after reading the last page and set it aside to sleep for the night, you can’t help but wonder..could such a sad ending really be how the story ends?

When the book is closed, life still goes on within the pages that made the world of Féeatterrir, a land of fae divided between light and dark. Lucien, King of the Light Fae, had been searching through spell book after spell book, finally finding the spell that took his love’s life. When you open your eyes, you’re no longer in bed, but in roots that cradle your body, belonging to a tree with half green leaves, half gray. Little orbs of bright light flutter down until one hits your nose. You hear soft giggles, seeing pairs of eyes peeking through you around trees as brightly glowing fairies begin to emerge. They whisper things to each other, surprised to see you.

“They don’t look like a light fairy..” “No wings..” “Are they even a fairy at all..?”

The confusing haze doesn’t have time to clear before you’re suddenly scooped up from the roots, a pair of teary ice blue eyes staring intensely at you through light blonde locks. He seemed..desperately happy to see you. He laughed, hugging you close as a pair of white, iridescent wings lined in gold lifted you two into the air, twirling you around with pure delight in his voice.
