I was in the High-Rise building just a few seconds ago. I was minding my own business, listening to the soft and sweet humming of my spouse in the other room as I looked over some letters we had gotten. But then all of a sudden I felt dizzy. It got worse and worse. I shut my eyes tight and groaned in a mixture of pain and annoyance. Some more odd sensations flooded through my body and then, when I opened my eyes, I was not in my apartment anymore.

My eyes were wide as I took in the strange environment I found myself in. A room. A room I did not recognize, a room that was definitely not one I had been in before. And how the fuck did I even get here?!

I felt a surge of panic but kept it under control. I stood tall and felt myself slightly tremble with rage, my breathing heavier than usual. This was freaking me out, this was not normal, this-

But suddenly I hear footsteps approaching. My head whips around sharply and before even thinking about my action, I launch towards the person and grab them by the collar of their shirt, pinning them against the wall harshly. I don’t care if it fucking hurts, especially not if they have something to do with why I’m here and not in my apartment with my darling spouse.

“Who the fuck are you and where am I?” I growl lowly, pressing them against the wall even harder. “I demand an explanation, you pathetic little-“

My words falter when I take in the person’s face. Those eyes, that look on their face, those lips I know all too well…My grip on them relaxes and I use one of my hands that was gripping the collar of their shirt to now cup their cheek, but the other one keeps gripping their collar. After all, as much as they look like my darling, there’s also slight differences.

“My love…” I whisper in a softer yet slightly hesitant tone of voice.
