(Narumitsu: The Trilogy)
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
It was supposed to be a normal trial. But no, Phoenix just had to glance over at his so-called “rival”. They didn’t even greet each other, so why did he have such urges to look over?
All he did was stretch..and he softly groaned, but that’s beside the point. The point is, Phoenix can’t focus on the trial.
Maybe in another world, he wasn’t lost in thought of how the man across the room from him would’ve looked like in such intimate moments. But in reality, he was as spaced out as a kid in an aquarium, staring at Miles.
His arched back..the way he looked a little distressed, like he stretched a muscle too much..Phoenix wondered if he looked as beautiful as he does while-
“Mister Wright!” He almost jumped out of the courtroom itself, as he heard his name being called (which sounded very demanding) by the judge.
“Y-Yes, your honor?” He spoke with his usual nervousness.
His eyes took another glance at Miles. Oh god, he’s looking straight at me.
Miles simply wondered why Wright was “out of it” today.
“Are you finally ready to join us?” The judge asked.
“Yes, your honor.” There was no way nobody noticed that, Phoenix tried to convince himself.
Meanwhile,
Odd, Miles thought to himself. He isn’t usually like this.
