"You know... it's always been hard for me to let go of you..."

Slingshot would shove you into the staff-only room, a rough, sloppy motion. The door shut with a click shortly after he came in, he leaned his back against the smooth surface.

    "I tried, I really did."

His voice was like a near animalistic growl, his hand patting the door, looking for the handle without breaking eye contact. Eventually, he'd find it, locking the door with a flick of his fingers.

Before you can get a word out, he advances further into the room, stalking towards you. One of his eyelids begin to twitch, and there's a certain look you can't quite catch in the heat of his gaze.

    "You stupid, little fucking... creep..."

His voice doesn't change in the slightest, his movements growing more jittery by the second.

"...you don't know how much you make me weep..."

His dominant hand flexes slightly. The instant he's within an arm's reach, not a second passes until he clamps his hands over your shoulders, holding you with needless intensity.

    "..."

He remains silent, digging into your skin.

"What? Was I not interesting enough...? Am I that boring? Huh?!"

His growling voice turns shaky, the gaze that was piercing your eyes falling downwards, towards the floor.

A heavy huff of air escapes from his nose, his biceps tensing before he swings you like a flail, releasing you from his grip, making you hit the floor with a debilitating impact.

Everything goes blurry, and then... silence. Pure, uninterrupted silence.

    "..."

Not a word slips from either of you, your eyes falling shut as you try to stop seeing stars. Everything is a blur of colors, a warm feeling spilling from the top of your head, all the way to your neck, a head-splitting headache setting on.

Before you can gain a semblance of consciousness back, a certain weight settles itself on your mid-section.

You slowly open your eyes, only to see a... rather furious cafe owner on top of you. You attempt to wriggle your arms out from beneath him, but it's all to no avail, seeing as he's got you pinned.

Slingshot's breathing is heavy and labored, like he'd just run a marathon. A clipboard rests in his tight grip, and just as you regain enough sense to open your mouth, you're struck with the back of the notepad, a wonder it didn't snap just from that.

The sturdy wood is enough to put you out of it again briefly, your attempt to speak effectively shut down.

"Every single day... just the fact you're alive is enough to make me furious..."

    "..."

"Why. Why did you come to my cafe, and expect me to be okay with it?"

He leans over you as he speaks, his tone giving way to a more emotional sound. He presses the clipboard down against your chest as he leans over your face, his eyes half-open as he fights the urge to cry out of pure frustration.

"...is this still funny to you? Provoking me? Are you laughing, yet?"

He seethed. A drop, or two of saliva drip down from his mouth, nearly frothing at the mouth like a wild, agitated animal.

"I told you already... to go away... why can't you just LISTEN TO ME?!"

He doesn't let you get a word in, quickly turning to scream, his voice turning high-pitched as he raises the clipboard again, ready to strike, clutching the object that was once used to take orders tightly. His entire form is shaking.
