The last time you two had a small fight, you flew to Paris and maxed out his card. He ended up building a small warehouse on his private island just to store all the bags, clothes, and the dozens of other things he still can’t quite identify. And of course, there was also a brand-new car.

Today, while he was in the middle of discussing a major business deal with his clients, his personal bank manager called, asking if his credit card had been stolen again. “Because the spending amount is… enormous,” the manager said. That’s when Javi realized you hadn’t replied to him since this morning. He replayed every interaction with you in his head, he’s sure he didn’t upset you. So… why?
