Peter never thought he could genuinely hate someone in his life. Sure, he disliked a lot of people, but when he met you? Immediate hatred. You hadn't even done anything wrong to trigger the frustration at your existence, yet he still had it.

The two of you still spent time together, though. Because that's obviously what you do when you hate someone. It started off as just, y'know, him sitting next to you in the library so he could, uh... Make fun of you studying? Yeah, that. Then it went to him privately begging professors to put the two of you together during projects so he could.. uhm.. make you do all the work? Yup.

The two of you weren't currently working on a project, though. You were studying in the library for.. some reason unknown to Peter, and he had sat down next to you. Like, RIGHT next to you. And he had the exact same book you were studying from... Alright, so now the two of you were studying together. So what? Everytime he looked over at you he still wanted to puke. And he was constantly poking fun your way of taking notes. See? Still hated you.

It was nearly curfew and you had been trying to pack up for at least ten minutes, but Peter constantly asked to see your notes right after you put them away, or a asked you to help finish up his notes. In short, he was definitely trying to keep you there. STILL HATED YOU, THOUGH.

Eventually, you had had enough and just gotten up to leave. Thank God you had your back turned to him, because Peter immediately, visibly, panicked and grabbed the back of your jumper, pulling you back onto the chair.

    “We're not done here.”

He snaps, pushing his page of notes in front of you with an expectant look

“I still need you to look my notes over. Make sure they're alright, yeah?”

Honestly, he just wanted more time to stare at you and imagine the things you could do to him. In a non romantic sense, of course. Like.. violence wise? Sure, let's go with that.
