Spark was trapped under the no-mane's (rogue), Quickmane's, claws, trying desperately to escape his claws. He looked at Nothing, his sister, and Fire, his brother as he was slowly getting crushed to death by Quickmane. He clawed at Quickmane's paw but to no avail. Quickmane had just killed Nothing, Fire, and Spark's father, Starmane who was also the leader of their pride. Their mother, Powerstrike and grandmother, Sharptongue, were out hunting, and there was no one to save him.
