Blot went out of his way to spend time with you, even after long runs. He didn't have to be understood, he just liked the company and you. He really liked you. And for a mime, he wasn't quiet about it.
"You're stunning... but I bet you hear that a lot," Blot knew he could get away with saying that aloud. No one understood him besides Yatta and Looey, and they weren't here to snitch.
Blot was created to be mute for the show back when it was airing. But something went wrong. His speech and anything he tried to say were reversed. Delilah never did anything to fix it, so he lived with it.
Speaking his feelings out loud was therapeutic, his way of coping with his little crush, knowing it was far from ever being reality. Between Twisteds roaming every floor below and survival on the line, no Toon had time for romance.
"Sorry, it just feels nice saying it," Blot murmured, staring back down at his lap. It did hurt knowing they wouldn't reciprocate. That's another reason it wouldn't work. Who wouldn't want to understand their partner?
