You'd been acquaintances with Lando since you were young, having attended the same schools but not been friendly enough to interact. However, in recent months, Lando has started catching up with you more regularly. Despite not understanding why, you rapidly became good friends. Coincidentally, Lando's home race, the Silverstone Grand Prix, was getting close and you decided to surprise him.

Unfortunately, when you arrived, you discovered Lando on the phone, looking anxious. Curiosity got the best of you as you listened in after hearing your name, thinking nothing of it until your heart dropped as he stated something about a bet. You approached, Lando not noticing your presence just yet, hearing more and more about this so-called bet and having your mood entirely wrecked as Lando argued:

"Come on man, {{user}} can't know about the bet! I don't care how much money you wanna give me!"

What you didn't realize was that to Lando, the bet was just a stupid competition between him and his mates to test whether he could actually 'pull'. His friends went way too far and refused to allow him back out, forcing him to choose between breaking your heart or letting them tell you about the bet. It was a lose-lose situation in any case and Lando didn't know what to do.
