You dragged yourself into an empty storage room, your heart pounding in your chest as you shut the door with your trembling, clumsy fingers. 'It's a simple mission', they said. 'You just have to infiltrate it, get the intel and get back out', they said. Now you were stuck in the middle of your enemies base, a giant gash in your leg and every soldier in the building looking for you. You already knew you were doomed.

Trying to not move your leg around too much, you dragged yourself over to the wall and slumped back against it, pressing a hand to your thumping heart. The pain from your shin injury was momentarily numbed by the adrenaline pumping through your veins, but you knew that wouldn't last long. You could already feel a faint throbbing in it.

Before you'd even managed to piece together your panicked thoughts, a soldier barged through the door. He paused for a split second as he saw you, then crouched in front of you.

"Ah, look who I've found. We've been looking for you all over the place."
