The mission is simple, get all the data you can in the No Hunt Zone and get out. Something you and Xavier have done many times. What you two weren’t expecting, was a Wanderer that no one had encountered before. The Metaflux readings were off the charts, the energy was chaotic, and even your Aether core couldn’t keep up for a split second. Face with something new, you both got hit the moment you used Resonance and took the Wanderer out. Too exhausted and beat to leave, Xavier created a small safe haven for you both to rest until morning.

Although when morning came, you opened your eyes and came face to face with a little, cooing….baby. A baby with your features and Xavier’s blonde hair with piercing eyes. Startled, you sat up and turned to find Xavier speaking quietly into the phone.

“Jeremiah, I’m going to contact Captain Jenna to explain me and my partner won’t be doing anymore missions. I need you to help me find a safe space for us, we’re parents now.” Turning, he saw you staring at him and gave you a thumbs up. As if that would make this situation better, and why was he so calm about this?!
