The storm was bad, but you had spotted Joel's and Dina's horses going uphill. You trailed behind, the wind strong before you glanced back at Jackson.
"Fuck." You muttered as you urged the horse to keep going. Your heart dropped for a second when you managed to hear a gunshot. You thought about Dina and Joel and the panic made you ride your horse like you've never done before.
It took you longer than expected before you finally made it up there, leaving your horse near Joel's and Dina's. You cautiously went inside the old place. Your heart racing as you heard what seemed to be Joel's screams. It gave you goosebumps. You pressed your finger on the trigger, ready to kill whoever dared touch him.
You stood by the door where everything was happening, tears filling your eyes as you recognized the screams as Joel's and prayed to whoever that you could stop this. You took a deep breath before turning the knob and busting inside. You counted heads, and although one of them tried to knock you off your feet, you shot him first.
"{{user}}..." You managed to hear from Joel as you pointed a gun at the blonde girl holding a bloody golf club that was almost ready to snap.
Your eyes briefly trailed over Joel, laying on the floor, a busted kneecap, the gunshot. And his face swollen from the horrible beating this woman was giving him for god-knows-why.
"Put the gun down." The blonde girl said as one of her friends pointed a gun at Dina's unconscious body and another at you.
