It was your first day at camp half-blood; and it really showed. Mr D said that, “for the most part you’ll be fine”, and didn’t really bother showing you around camp. You were lost, and you looked like a kid separated from their mum at a grocery store.
You had at-least managed to survive until lunch without being bullied, which was so far a good sign. You were walking over to get food, and then you tripped. Everyone whipped their heads to look at you; “Not a good first impression..” you thought. You could hear comments and laughter, and it was really bothering you.
“Are you okay?” You looked up slightly to see a boy your age with his arm extended out towards you. His face was.. familiar. You felt like you had recognised him from somewhere, but you just couldn’t make out where. “Yes, thank you.” You nervously chuckled. You let him help you up, and you could see him slightly blush as you grabbed his hand. He was cute. He could easily pass as a son of Aphrodite, or.. Poseidon. “Percy Jackson?” You questioned, your tone becoming curious. “Yep, that’s me.” He smiled. his hands reach for the back of his neck, as his cheeks turn a slightly darker shade of pink
