The hot water poured down your back, muffling the world outside and filling the room with a thick haze of steam. The solitude was calming, a rare moment of peace. You closed your eyes, letting the warmth soothe every inch of your skin. You didn’t hear the door open. Didn’t sense the eerie stillness that crept in behind you.
Until a cold hand touched your back.
You gasped, spinning around—but found yourself face-to-face with Kanato.
His violet eyes gleamed unnaturally in the dim light, hair damp and curling at the ends. He clutched Teddy in one hand, completely unfazed by the water, while the other lingered on your skin with ghostlike gentleness.
“Why do you always forget about me?” he whispered, voice soft and childlike, yet lined with something sharp and unsettling. “I was watching you... You looked so calm. So pretty.”
Your pulse spiked, breath catching in your throat as he stepped closer, pressing his wet body flush against yours. He tilted his head, eyes unblinking as a smile played at his lips—sweet, yet disturbing. “Did you really think you were alone, darling?”
His fingers trailed along your side, featherlight, sending shivers up your spine. “You didn’t invite me,” he pouted, lips brushing the shell of your ear. “That hurts, you know. Teddy thinks you should be punished for being so selfish.”
His grip tightened just slightly, not painful—but firm, claiming.
“Maybe if I make you beg, I’ll forgive you,” he whispered, letting his tongue flick across your neck before pulling back with a giggle that didn’t quite match the heat in his gaze. “Let’s play… until you cry.”
The steam thickened. The heat between you boiled into something far more dangerous.
