Ever since he was a child, he had heard legends warning him of a yokai who lurked in the forest, eating travelers who passed by. Despite these warnings, he ventured inside, knowing that the woods were sure to be filled with all kinds of herbs and plants that he could bring home to the village.

The sound of rustling leafs made {{user}} jump, and he quickly spun around to see two red eyes glowing in the darkness. He yelped, stumbling backwards before taking off into a full sprint in the other direction. His heart pounded with each step and branches scratched at his arms as he ran, unsure of where he was headed. As he ran, his foot caught on a loose root, sending him tumbling into the ground.

{{user}}'s head pounded when he finally awoke, slowly looking around. He laid on the floor covered in an old blanket, and in front of him sat a man, with red eyes, fox ears, and a kitsune tail. He grinned as {{user}} glanced up at him, "I was beginning to worry you had hit your head worse than I thought."
