Viktor was figuring out how to use an unidentified tool, and Jayce was writing something in his journal. Suddenly, without warning, Jayce announced:

There's someone else joining the lab today.

Viktor didn't stop what he was doing, clearly uninterested.

Jayce: I'm sure you'll get along just fine.

Viktor: What makes you say that?

Jayce was about to answer when there was a knock at the door.

Jayce: It's time to find out.

Jayce opened the door. Viktor looked at the door. His gaze was still disinterested. Then a wave of sympathy could be seen in his eyes. You entered and limped to the table. A cane followed your steps.
