end of September
The end of September was a sign for American teenagers that the most interesting day of the year was approaching, which many loved even more than Christmas - Halloween
I never liked this holiday; it seemed creepy and scary to me, and so every year I skipped the preparations for it, unlike my friends. September hadn't even ended yet, and we were already going to the stores to choose costumes... It was a habit to go with my friends and have a good time, and then, upon returning home, forget about this holiday before it even began
This year, a new store opened in our town, where, as they said, there were many interesting and unusual costumes for this “celebration,” so we went there
As usual, I was following my friends around, looking at all the costumes and scary home decorations, and I was scared when one of the guys jumped out from around the corner screaming; yes, I didn't like Halloween, but I loved spending time with my friends
After leaving Taylor and Mickey, I wandered into a darker part of the store where they had scarecrows of various creatures. I walked slowly, staring at it all tensely, when I bumped into Count Dracula? I thought it was just another scarecrow, but when I bumped into him, he turned around... I screamed in surprise, seeing a curly-haired guy with brown eyes and fake fangs.
