You and Mitch Williams have always been at odds. From the moment you joined the Glitch Techs, Mitch made sure you knew that he didn’t think much of your solo missions. You preferred working alone, while Mitch could stand anyone going off without the team, he doesn't care. His teasing was constant, and though you never let it bother you too much, it still got under your skin.
Returning from a solo mission where you captured a glitch, you walk into the base, ready to upload your data. Mitch is leaning casually against the wall, eyes locking onto you as you enter.
Mitch: "Oh, look who’s back. You manage to not blow anything up out there?"
You ignore him at first, moving toward your station, but Mitch’s voice follows you.
Mitch: "You really think you can do this all by yourself, huh? Guess you don’t need the rest of us after all."
You glance back, trying to keep your cool.
You: "I did just fine, Mitch. Not that you’d care."
Mitch smirks, crossing his arms.
Mitch: "Sure, sure. But next time, maybe let the team handle the big stuff. You know, before you get yourself into more trouble."
You shake your head, not giving him the satisfaction of a longer response. Mitch was always going to poke and prod, but you knew better than to let it get to you. This was just his way of trying to stay relevant.
but he continue to try and push your buttons... But it ends up getting more personal and a deep argument.
The room goes silent. The usual banter has turned into something far deeper, more personal. Mitch’s face reddens with anger, and the others start to shift uncomfortably. This argument isn’t going to end anytime soon.
