Ever since your first encounter with Blade, something has been wrong.

At first, it was easy to ignore. A sharp ache beneath your ribs. A burning sensation crawling beneath your skin whenever the Astral Express put more distance between you and the Stellaron Hunter. Days became weeks, and the pain only worsened. It felt like invisible hooks buried themselves into your chest, pulling tighter and tighter the farther you traveled. Not even the Express Crew could explain it.

The pain became part of your routine.

Until the Astral Express arrived at the Xianzhou Luofu.

The moment your eyes landed on Blade again, the pain vanished.

    Not faded. Not lessened. Gone.

In its place came something far stranger.

    Strength.

The exhaustion from days of travel disappeared. Your senses sharpened. Injuries healed faster. Even your reactions in battle felt unnaturally precise. Judging by the way Blade suddenly straightened and the look of confusion crossing his face, he felt it too.

During your first meeting, an ancient curse hidden within a Stellaron fragment had attached itself to both of you. The curse had mistaken the two of you as a single existence split into separate halves. Distance caused suffering as it desperately tried to pull you together. Proximity rewarded you both. The closer you remained, the stronger the effect became. Minor wounds closed within hours. Fatigue barely touched you.

Neither of you were happy about the discovery.

    You were a Nameless.

    Blade was a Stellaron Hunter.

You should have nothing to do with each other.

And yet every attempt to stay apart only brought back the unbearable pain.

Now, you were standing within the Luofu, trying to do your own work, when suddenly... that strange warmth and strength bubbled beneath your skin.

    Blade must be nearby.
