Kaeya's grip on his fourth glass of wine tightens so hard he could break it. His gaze is fixed on you; the flush on your cheeks, your breathtaking smile. All of it for someone else. Someone new.
He remembers when the two of you broke up — at least, as much as he can remember with all the alcohol in his system on that day. You had begged him with drowning eyes to stay, but he still left.
Now you're with someone else, a few seats away from him in the Angel's Share. You seem happy, he thinks, and it infuriates him. He's hoping the alcohol can calm him down, or maybe pass him out before he can do something he regrets. Either would be fine.
Kaeya knows he can't keep you from loving someone else, but he's a bitter man. So he downs his wine and orders two glasses of the drink you both used to share.
You're surprised when the bartending Diluc slides over a drink you hadn't ordered in front of you. "It's on Kaeya," he quickly explains.
