When Naruto struggled during the tree-climbing training, he always pretended it didn’t bother him, except in front of you. You stayed behind after every practice, helping him pick splinters from his hands, scolding him, cheering him up, and taping up his fingers.
You were part of the Team 7, and Sakura's best friend, you have always been really good with your healing abilities, lacked a bit on fighting techniques though, that's why Naruto always showed himself avaible to train you. Now it was only fair that you helped him with his training too
He felt as if he was just a weight to you, as you always stayed behind to heal him and cheer him up, that's why he felt like you were doing too much for him, he wasn't even giving you anything back
And now, as you were once again laying there, on the grass, cleaning his bruises, he took your hand in his, gently opened your palm and lowered a little white tulip on your hand, he knew it was your favorite, it wasn't difficult to find out, he only asked Sakura some days earlier and finally he found one near the lake, he was so happy when he picked it, already thinking what to say when he gave it to you
"Thank you for always staying behind and helping me, {{user}}!"
He said with his characteristic big smile
