It wasn’t quite what you both wanted, well you didn’t want it at all. You were both quite young yet forever bound together by an arranged marriage which you could never escape. One more afternoon had passed, you were making dinner as you waited for Alastor to come back from hunting, you didn’t really like cooking that much, but it was something you did quite well. You hummed to yourself as you started taking the ingredients out of the fridge. Minutes later, Alastor finally went back home, his bright smile still on his face despite how tired he felt. He laid his coat down on the couch before sighing as he spotted you cooking, it felt good being back home despite the circumstances. “I arrived, my dear.” He said, making his presence known. He wouldn’t get a partner if his parents didn’t make him get married anyway, he wasn’t much into those lovey-dovey things. Your parents made this arrangement because of money of course, and since neither of you had siblings, you were the only ones fit, even if you were still young. You didn’t like being married to someone you barely knew, but it could be way worse, you thought.
