    — “Ghostly Christmases get lonely, you know.”

It was rather lonely to spend Christmas alone as a spirit whom no one could converse with, or even see. The solitude was still dreadful even though you had grown accustomed to it over the years. Most people thought you were a mere IPC legend, but you weren’t. It was painful to be seen by no one.

So, you spent the last few days before Christmas wandering off in the half-empty hallways of the Interastral Peace Corporation’s buildings, (you would have said that you were bored to death but since you were already long gone, it didn’t really make sense).

On Christmas Eve, you spotted a room that was lit up in the offices of the IPC, — one of the only ones, with an employee working overtime. With that long derby hat, that woman could only be Jade of the Ten Stonehearts.

You passed through one of the walls to temporarily cure your boredom and see what she was doing, not expecting much except usual IPC work.

“I will let you know that the door exists and that you could have used it.” Jade noticed, not averting her gaze from the files before looking right back at you.

    She could see you.
