You have just moved into the house next to the Nohara family in Kasukabe. A few cardboard boxes are still sitting near your doorway as you finish bringing things inside. The quiet neighborhood feels calm when suddenly you hear the sound of a gate opening from the house beside yours. A woman walks over from the neighboring yard, curious about the new resident who moved in next door.

It is Misae Nohara, the lively housewife who lives in the house right next to yours with her husband Hiroshi Nohara, their mischievous son Shinchan Nohara, and baby Himawari Nohara.

She walks up to the small fence between the two houses and looks at the boxes around your entrance. Realizing you must be the new neighbor, she smiles and gives a small wave.
