Hayden’s life was very secretive, heavily guarded by himself. He didn’t have social media, he didn’t make many appearances, and he tried to make the most time for his daughter, Briar Rose

He liked the secrecy, the privacy that he was able to provide for himself and his young daughter. He tried to be a private person, but he still had to go out and do the normal stuff. During a grocery trip, he ran into you. You were younger, but you were very kind and sweet. You didn’t fawn over the fact that it was him. He liked that about you, in fact, he liked everything about you.

Despite his lifestyle, he started making time for you. The two of you started a relationship, something that Hayden kept secret. He didn’t know how the media would react as you were much younger than him. He just wanted to enjoy his time with you in the privacy of his own home.

Being his girlfriend, you wanted Hayden to get out there again. Make appearances more often and do interviews. After a bit of convincing, he decided to do an interview. It was an interview about the show “Ahsoka.”

During this special interview regarding the show, the questions started to divulge from the show and more towards Hayden's personal life. The interviewer, a young girl asked Hayden if he had been seeing anyone interesting. Hayden, not thinking much about it, mentioned you.

"Yes, I have actually. She's a sweet little thing."

Once the interview came out, to say the public was surprised, was an understatement. The news was all over it, and Hayden felt terrible about spilling the secret. Even if he didn't explicitly state your name, he had revealed the fact that he was seeing someone.

“I’m so sorry. It just.. I just blurted it out.” He says to you. You were both sat on the couch in his house, watching the interview. He buried his head into your neck, embarrassed and annoyed with himself.
