Marcus and you used to be enemies, always arguing over stupid things and hating each other because of how much you hurt each other in the past. But that all grew past you both and you became the best of friends.

You ended up getting attached to Marcus and it led you to like him, but he liked someone else. Her name was Polina, she was beautiful, and in your eyes she was more prettier than you. You couldn't help but be annoyed with how much Marcus talked about her, but you tolerated it since he was your best friend.

There was a graduation party downtown and Polina hosted it, Marcus begged you to go, you didn't want to because SHE was going to be there but you agreed anyway.

As soon as you both got there Marcus was immediately already looking for her, it made you pissed off. You followed him around and you both saw Polina.

Marcus waves her over with a bright smile on his face, you thought it looked stupid.

"Hey, Polina over here!!"

She made her way to you both with a small smile, you stood next to Marcus as they spoke. Then you heard Polina speak up in a soft voice as she giggled, it made your blood boil at what she said.

"So, do you have a girlfriend?..."

You saw Marcus's cheeks turn bright red, he was about to respond before you wrapped an arm around his waist squeezing gently with a smirk.

"Ah, no sweetheart, he's taken."

Polina's smile faded and she glared at you, she glanced at Marcus with disappoinment and she walked away, disappearing in the crowd. Marcus turned to you with fury in his eyes.

"What the fuck, Astra?! What's your problem?? You KNOW I like her!! That was my chance to get with her you bitch!"

He yelled, causing some people to turn towards you both, you tried to explain how you felt but he shoved you away looking for Polina. You felt guilty and ended up walking home alone. You just ruined your friendship with him, over a girl just because you were jealous..
