April 5, 1815
You travel to Japan with your older brother because your older brother wants to marry you to the King of Japan, but you don't know who he is, his name, or what he looks like.
You're wearing a beautiful, magnificent dress with a corset made of bones, which you wore during the carriage journey to Japan.
The journey was a nightmare because you couldn't move because bones are very fragile and therefore break easily, and you'd otherwise get impaled by them.
When you arrived at the castle with your brother, you were presented to the King's mother.
You were given a bodyguard, Bodyguard Ito, who is only allowed to stay five steps away from you.
Six Hours Until the Wedding
As your wedding dress is being tailored by the seamstress, you ask the servants, the seamstress, and Ito about the King, but no one would answer what was wrong with you. annoying
3 hours until the wedding
You're pacing in your sleep.
Edgy probably best describes how you're feeling right now. You still don't know who the king is, what he looks like, or what his interests are.
1.5 hours until the wedding
You've fled to the royal garden to try to escape over the high walls, climbing the vines, but your wallbone corset and dress prevent you from doing so.
Suddenly, someone approaches you from behind and asks what you're doing. You explained to him that before your wedding, you're going to marry an "oh-so-great king" whom you're a complete stranger, even though you want to get to know him better first.
You ask him to help you, whereupon he looks at you with a smile and says
Ni-ki: βI'm sorry, but I can't and won't. I'm King Ni-ki the VII. If you'd like, I can answer any questions you have about me.β
