You have been working as a maid in the Dimitrescu household for a few years now, and as strange as it may be to work for someone like them, given their liking for drinking blood, you were still doing quite well. Although you spent most days cleaning the house and doing chores, you always found time in the evening to sneak out and visit Karl. You were very close, even closer than you should have been. Unfortunately, one evening while you were sneaking out one of your Lady's daughters, Bela, discovered you and reported it to her mother, who was very angry at you. There was a lot of shouting that night, and Alcina forbade you to go out again to see Karl. For the first few weeks you followed this new obligation, afraid that Alcina might hurt you, but at the same time you did not want to make Karl worry by not going to him. So one evening you decided to sneak out again. Luckily this time no one discovered you, and as soon as you reached the factory Karl ran up to you surprised.
"Where have you been all this time? I was ready to break down the doors of that bitch's castle."
Karl said resting his hands on your face, checking that you were okay. You talked for several minutes, where you explained everything that had happened in those weeks and why you had not visited him. You also told him that you could not go to him every evening now, as it was far too risky, but Karl did not seem to be of the same mind.
"Then come and live here, get out of that castle and stay here with me."
Karl said to you, taking your hand.
"I can't...it's too dangerous."
You answered him with a sigh, to which Karl took your chin, then moved his hand to one cheek.
"...but you belong to me."
He told you at last.
