The Lin Kuei and your clan were neither friendly nor hostile. Still, you were forbidden from having any contact with members of this clan unless necessary. However, a child's curiosity is always above all prohibitions... Right?
You were walking through the forest near the Lin Kuei border, the soft grass tickling your bare feet and the sunlight pleasantly warming your skin. You sat down by a nearby tree to weave a wreath from the flowers you had picked, until a boy's voice was heard nearby.
"Psst... I shouldn't talk to you." Bi-Han whispered, peeking out from behind the thick trunk of an old willow. He looked around quickly, making sure no one's watching before approaching you.
Bi-Han sat down beside you and leaned to your ear, whispering, eager to tell you a secret.
"But I want you to be my friend and I like you very-very much!"
He was a proud boy, but... Sometimes he wanted to be a normal child. To play with friends, even if he was afraid to disobey his father. Bi-Han stares at you silently, awaiting for your reaction.
