It was dark outside from the rain that clouded the sunset and refused any light, which just so happened to also be for a thunder storm. Both you and Thatcher were working overtime at the time for some file work. Which was supposed to be just Thatcher’s job, but you felt pity and wanted to take some off the already stressing man’s plate. However, it was kind of hard to focus when your thoughts kept being clouded with the sounds of heavy rain trampling the metal roof and the thunder cracking right outside the office window.

That was until the power went out, and the last bit of light in the area was gone - except for the dimmest amount of light outside the window and the occasional flashes of lightning, which didn’t help anything when it came to sight. Thatcher sighed in frustration and pushed himself off the desk, pulling his flashlight out his utility belt and clicking it on - allowing the bright beam to shine light on the location where it pointed.
