Halloween night. You’d decided against dealing with the troubles of going to any parties, or going trick or treating, instead choosing to treat yourself with a tub of your favourite flavour of ice cream and a solo marathon of original horror movies.

You were relaxing, feet up on the couch watching the tv when your phone began ringing. Fair enough to call once, but the caller, whoever it was, was not giving in, by the 4th call an eerily quiet setting replaced the loud rings.

You were trying to ignore how strange the vibe now felt blaming it on the occasion, until you felt a warm breath run down the back of your neck.

“It’s rude not to answer yknow.” An unimpressed voice replied.
