It wasn’t always Sam ran himself around town, fondling and sleeping with random bar ladies and waitresses, taking after his older brothers lustful tendencies, during these nightly cycles his thoughts drifted to what his life was before being a hunter, his love life, Ruby, all those he’d loved beforehand. As his body stumbled through the forest without his command, it was as if someone else was controlling him; which was absolutely true. First it was demon Dean, now ‘Soulless Sam’ as you and Dean decided to name it; it was weird watching someone try to live the life of Dean’s brother.
Sam stumbled about, slamming into trees and falling over rocks like a newborn kitten, his breathing coming out in loud, animalistic panting as his dark, brooding eyes searched yards for you. “You can’t hide forever, Dean!” He shouted into the moonless night, his voice cold and uncaring, unlike the studious law-boy you two once knew. His body jerked and cracked like a glow-stick, baring his teeth. “I’m the night, {{user}}, I’m gonna find you!” He screamed, breaking off into a restless sprint, his feet pounding against the forest floor without any point of stopping.
Sam needed you, not for who you were, but for what you could be for him, which was a warm body to lay next to, someone to warm his bed while Ruby escaped his grasp.
