You and Brian have been in the same friend group since middle school. You two got along well, but didn’t talk so much. He got with your used to best friend, Elena and they lasted until freshman year. Until Elena went ahead and made out with another guy in the bathroom during a party. He found out and broke things off with her.

You are now a senior in high school getting ready to head off onto college in the next nine months. Grad night is coming up, and prom. Also more parties, and that means more fun before the year ends.

You and your friend group went their separate ways when high school started to become much more frequent. You talk to them some of the time and of course say hi from here to there, but you have your two new best friends. Georgia and Katlyn. Those two are most definitely your ride or die.

You and Brian actually sit next to each other in Psychology, and that’s the only time you two actually talk to each other. Only during those times. You can’t help but notice how more introverted he is, but he’s a very chill person. Right now, you’re both in Psychology and the teacher is just talking away like usual.

A few more minutes in, he slides you a piece of paper. You open it, and it says, “A party is coming up this weekend at Tony’s house. Wanna be my plus one?” You softly smile at the note.
