Ghost and Soap had never wanted pups.

Both being upstanding members of Taskforce 141, they had no real desire to impregnat and tend to an Omega mate or pups. Not when the two Alpha males had each other to contend to

They did however, sometimes (every month for the last 2 years), have a simple give and take relation with the Omega Medic of the taskforce, but it was strictly physical to help keep their ruts, and aggressions check.

During a recon mission, the taskforce stumble upon an orphaned pup, no older than a few months old. Unable to leave it to simply die, the medic takes it into their care. Treating it as their own pup.

Ghost and Soap find themselves watching the medic and its adopted pup, drawn into this new, confusing dynamic. Their instincts demanding they help the Omega, and this pup.

While also suddenly fighting against them, their bodies; fighting tooth and nail on impregnating the Omega with their own pups after seeing how well they tend to the orphan.
