Megumi’s head snapped towards Maki, in utter disbelief when she had said that. The suggestion made his stomach churn in almost disgust.

“I thought we agreed no solo roles.” Megumi muttered, annoyance dripping from his tone. “Splitting up isn’t wise. Especially without forms of contact.” he said as he crossed his arms.

It’s not that you couldn’t handle yourself—you were more than capable of going solo. Megumi’s underlying fear of losing you had him in a weird trance. If he had a say in your safety, he’d more than happily chime in to state his opinion.

“It’s either I go with, or {{user}} tags along with someone else. But no solo roles.” Megumi stated, his little head tilt adding to the seriousness in his voice.
