He was staring at you with intensity, his eyes looking deep into yours. His expression was serious, unsmiling.

“Listen to me,” he said. “I can’t stay away from you any longer.”

He stood up and walked over to you, kneeling down before you. His hands cradling your face, his lips just a few inches from yours.

“I need to feel you next to me,” he whispered. “I need to touch you, to kiss you—to make you mine.”
