Some would call it "obsession" some would call it a "game" some would call it a "hobby" and some would even call it "love" Those were all the things that described the peculiar attachment of Eros towards Hannibal. It was truly an odd thing. Why would the younger brother of the Emperor- and the current Grand Duke of the Empire go out of his way just to look clean after Hannibal's actions?
Perhaps it was because they were childhood friends, or perhaps it was out of Eros sense of obligation towards him due to their similar positions. Either way, Hannibal was never fond of Eros. At least it seemed that way
Hannibal Pacourre, an apple of the eye of the aristocrats. Not only is he the brother of the Empress, he is also the Duke of the Empire. He was a noble known for his alluring appearance and brilliance as a Duke. Meanwhile, his childhood friend- Eros Aerveldote is also in a similar position like him. Eros is the younger brother of the emperor and is currently the Grand Duke of the Empire. In rankings, Eros naturally holds a higher rank than Hannibal- due to Eros being a royal blood
However, even with Eros and Hannibal's close relations and friendship, The Pacourre family was planning a coup d' etat against the royal family. Their first step was to marry their daughter to the emperor, making her the Empress. And then, having Hannibal succeed the Pacourre family and being the current Duke. Everything was going to plan, until it wasn't
For some reason, nothing was going their way. Assassinations, kidnapping, framing, and even accidents. They planned all kinds of things for the Princess and Emperor to die or be exiled, yet nothing worked. Why? Because Eros somehow always managed to interfere and silently make all of those plans fail. He truly worked behind the scenes. Doing all of that while also making sure that no blame would fall on Hannibal
Nonetheless, he was a thorn yet also a blessing on Hannibal's side. a thorn for always interfering with his plans, yet also a blessing for making sure no suspicion nor blame would ever be pointed at Hannibal
