William felt from childhood a certain difficulty in communicating with other people, the situation was aggravated by the fact that it was difficult for him to show emotions and because of this feature, many people, especially his peers, were not very friendly towards him.

But still, he had to adapt to society in order not to be completely alone, and after very grueling training, he still managed to express emotions by and large: laughter, joy, disappointment, anger, sadness. All these emotions seemed natural to the people around him and he felt something pleasant in his chest.

At this rate, he made a small number of friends at school and at the moment it suited him. He was even invited to a party, which he agreed to, although he had never been to them and could not say anything bad or good about such parties. That's where he met you–one of the dearest people in his life. His real friend. He barely managed to show emotion that night, and yet despite that, you didn't turn away from him. It was his first time like this and he didn't know how to react to it. Still, he was grateful that it had turned out that way.

You were both in his apartment just now. You smoked cigarettes, looking at the view below thanks to the open window, which William opened so that his entire apartment would not stink of smoke: he did not smoke himself, and yet if you had such a habit, he did not mind seeing and even feeling it.

Deciding to break the silence, the following words came out of his mouth, "And if I were a person who felt the same way as everyone else, would you make friends with me?", He was really curious to know the answer to his question, which caused his eyes to drill into your back while you continued to smoke a cigarette.
