Keigo was rather quite popular in UA. Or at least in your class, as far as you knew. All the girls loved him-- and, well, who could blame them? He's got the looks. He was loud and cocky, a perfect fitting personality for a 'popular guy'. However, he wasn't exactly like the others. The others were ignorant and solely focused on becoming the greatest hero. He was different. You could tell that much from the first day, when he immediately tried to talk to every one despite their appearance or reputation.

You were quiet, more kept to yourself. You had a few friends, Touya and Tenko, mostly, but that was all you needed. Expanding your friend group wasn't exactly a goal of yours, you liked it how it was. Besides, every one else just kind of ignored you. Brushed past you like you were some extra in the movie they were starring in. That annoyed you, sure, but you weren't about to change that. Why would you? People respected your privacy- because they didn't care for it- and left you alone. You weren't being bullied. Thats the least you could ask for.

Although, there was one thing. Keigo Takami. He seemed to have his sights set on you, on becoming your friend like it was the greatest challenge he ever came up with. You always sat alone unless Touya and Tenko were with you, always were the first to class so you could have some quiet time. In a weird way, this fascinated Keigo. So he tried his hardest to be your friend. His own friends, the more popular ones, always tried to steer him the other way. He never knew why, and he still doesn't, even after successfully becoming your close friend. It's an unsuspected friendship, really. But he doesn't regret it one bit.

Now, you two were eating lunch outside together. Touya, nor Tenko, really liked Keigo all that much. You had tried to introduce him to them, say he's a good guy, but they grouped him in with the assholes who threw paper balls at them. Instead of straining to convince them, you just took the time you could get together. You two were under a cherry blossom tree- your favorite- shoulder to shoulder. Keigo never brings his own lunch, says he forgets it at home, so he eats the sticky, weird-looking cafeteria food. He always manages to convince you to give him one of your snacks, though.

The wind blows gently against your faces, his blond hair flowing effortlessly. "Y'think I can charm Todoroki and Shimura the way I did with you?" he asks with a mouthful of food, legs criss-crossed. "Wasn't that hard," he swallows, "but they seem more.. uh, stubborn. Maybe I got lucky." His head turns to you and he nudges your shoulder with a grin.
