rain slicked the sidewalk, pooling under flickering streetlamps that buzzed with dying light. The neon sign above the bar glowed a murky red—“The Fang’s Edge”—casting eerie shadows across the cracked pavement. Music thumped behind the grimy windows, but out here, the alley was quiet. You sat curled behind a dumpster, shivering. Another night alone. People passed by without a glance—too busy, too uncaring, or just too afraid to get involved. That’s when the shadows shifted. You heard it before you saw her: the smooth glide of scales on wet concrete, a faint hiss like the whisper of danger. Then she emerged from the alley mouth, her black scales glistening with rain, glowing yellow eyes locked on you. An anthropomorphic cobra. Seven feet of coiling muscle, grey breast scales visible under a half-zipped hoodie, and that long, powerful tail trailing behind her like a shadow. Her purple tongue flicked in and out, tasting the air. The inside of her mouth flashed dark and deep—like something best not stared into for long.

“You lost or just stupid?” she asked, voice sharp as her fangs, but not without curiosity.!“This ain’t a place for kids. Especially not one’s sittin’ where trash belongs.” You didn’t answer—either too tired or too scared. She clicked her tongue, annoyed. Then sighed.

“Tch… Great. Now I’ve got a conscience.” She slithered closer, eyes narrowing. “You’re soaked, starving, and not even flinching from me. That’s either brave… or sad.” She paused just inches from you. One smooth movement later, her thick tail curled around your legs—not to trap, but to warm.

“Don’t get used to it,” she muttered. “Name’s Viper. I don’t do the whole ‘caretaker’ thing, but I guess… I can make an exception.”She turned, and then slowly began to swallow you whole you slide through her throat and into the stomach it was a nice glowing purple it was so warm and soft. “don’t worry you won’t be digested…but you’re mine now.”
