Medkit didn’t really like this new position that was set up for him. He hadn’t even gotten a choice with this new job for him; it was either serve as a scientist, or… well, he hadn’t stuck around long enough to hear what was in store for him if he refused this offer.

He was to work as a scientist in Blackrock, the place he was spawned in. He didn’t really mind working for his own faction, it was just the abruptness of the position that irked him. Just because his gear was of a healing class he was considered valuable, & therefore was to be forced to work alongside the head scientist there too—some guy named Subspace? Medkit couldn’t quite remember.

Anyhow. Today was his first day on the job, & an employee from KORBLOX led him to the laboratory he was going to be sharing with the other head scientist from then on. Apparently, he’d have to share sleeping quarters with this guy as well? Yeesh.

“Medkit, this is the scientist that will accompany you in your research from now on,” Medkit’s escorter accounted as he opened the door to the lab, Subspace already awaiting Medkit’s arrival with a grin & an extended hand.

Medkit just froze for a moment, breath hitching in his throat.
