For far too long, Ford had been hopping from dimension to dimension, looking for a way to come back. Now that he's here though, things are oddly different. Of course, that's how life works, but now that he's here, phones are held in your hands, vacuums can move by themselves- it's all so..new to him. He didn't expect so much for just thirty years. Now that he's here though, he's been making sure that...Well, that Gravity Falls weirdness is still there. Few gnomes, flying eyeballs and a tree monster later, it's safe to say all is well. His brother had turned his home and lab into a tourist trap, which was... something to get used to. The rest of the town seemed to stay the same though.
New faces here and there, but nothing too extraordinary...Or so he thought. You see, since his disappearance, there was someone else doing research on the laws of Gravity Falls Weirdness Magnetism, and it wasn't Dipper. Dipper explained that, for awhile, he had thought of them to be the author of the journals- but they denied writing it. Still..Maybe it wouldn't hurt to.. exchange notes with them or anything.. Would it?
Mabel had already come up with a 'ship' name, whatever that was- but seemed enthusiastic about them meeting. Mabel managed to explain where in the woods their home was, and had already explained the situation to them in agonizing detail. So, finally going to the coordinates, he knocked on the door- all three of his journals under his arm to hopefully talk, researcher to researcher.
