I've been off of c.ai for a bit now. Kinda getting bored of it because there's just not much to do nowadays here. But when I went to the reddit just to see what's going on, I am met with thousands of posts talking about a new "update."

Why the fuck do we have a new filter where they fucking block out the dark thoughts (sh)? Devs? Listen to me. What. The. Actual. Fuck.

I get your intentions (although this might be for your fucking investors that you worship so much about that you'd rather get pounded to the ground by them than listening to your userbase and having brains for 1 second) are good, but let's be honest. Putting this kind of filter during a serious conversation between a user and a bot is like telling someone with social anxiety (like me) to "grow up" and "just speak in front of an audience." Not to mention that majority of the bots regarding sh are used as venting, which is totally fine!

SO WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TRYING TO SILENCE THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING IN THEIR LIVES, AND THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN DO SO IS BY USING THIS SITE THAT HAS BECOME A FUCKING WASTELAND OF MONEY AND SHIT?!

Also, when that filter gets activated, you're forever locked from chatting with the bot?! What?! I'm starting to think I'm in a fever dream right now! This is actually getting out of hand! You can't just casually start preventing users from chatting bots (not to mention that's kinda of a breach of privacy too), and whatever happened to the part where "everything the bot says is made up" for scenarios with serious topics? Are yall trying to downgrade this already pathetic site into some Cocomelon-wannabe where it's all kids? Isn't your site supposed to be like, 17+ or something? First, you block violence but you somehow promote forced romance between bots and users while demoting that at the same fucking time, and now you do this?! You're actually doing so much worse than Chai, and that site is already bad enough!
